Michael George moved to Anchorage, Alaska, 1964. Unfortunately, because of the largest earthquake ever in the US, he lost his job as an engineer. |
In 1965, at the age of 21, Mike started a home building company. |

From that point forward, he has been building
homes and subdividing property for 44 years. Twenty eight of
those years were spent building and subdividing in Anchorage,
AK.

Cheryl George joined the home building business in 1980. Cheryl runs the office, financing and interior decorating. She has 29 years of experience in all phases of the building and subdividing business. |

In 1992 they started to build in the greater Portland, Oregon, area. There, they continued to build entry level homes and subdivisions for 10 years. |
During this time Nick Finlay, their son-in-law, came on board as a project manager and quality assurance and quality control person. There is a total 85 years experience at MC Homes, LLC. |

In 2002, Mike, Cheryl and Nick moved to Chandler, Arizona. Later they moved their office to Mesa AZ. |
After research they understood the potential in the Casa Grande housing market. |

Being conservative, they purchased finished lots for their first endeavor in the Arizona, market and built a 61 lot subdivision called The Cottonwoods.. |
They built out their first subdivision and purchased the land now known as Ghost Hollow Estates Subdivision. This property is located at Pinal Avenue and Ghost Ranch Road. Model homes are now being built. |
